The Bombers kicked our the 2025 season with some promising results albeit with only one win.

The Cups Men's side took it right up to last years Grand Finalists, Cardiff and after coming from 20 points down at one stage led right up until the last 20 seconds when Cardiff kicked a goal to record a five point win. That is now the fifth time in the last year that the Bombers have lost by less than 10 points. Jye Boby, Jed Hagley and Tom Castelnuovo were the best whilst Brandon Lloyd kicked three goals.

In the Cup Women's Grand Final rematch, Killarney Vale were dominant from the beginning playing free flowing football and applying great pressure to overwhelm their Cardiff opponents. The Bombers led by 11 points at the first change before eventually running out 27 point winners. Holly Gibbons Kristen Kessler and Leah Murphy had strong games with Mia Wilson dominant up forward finishing with four goals.

The Men's Plate side took on last years undefeated Minor Premiers, Wyong Lakes and put in a gallant performance without getting the four points. Ryan Barnard, Ryan Coughan and Joey Crick were the best.

The Women's Plate side started the year with a number of new players and after an even first three quarters were unable to match Terrigal Avoca in the final quarter eventually losing by 17 points in an encouraging performance. Best players were Hollie Flack (one of three Flack sisters playing), Kimberley Thoseby and Tara Angell.
